Afternoons 22-23 July 2023
Exploring the influence of post-war Graphic Design on the work of four contemporary visual artists and a writer. Curated by Alexander Johnson, the exhibition focusses on the shared language of graphics (from the sixties to the eighties): the printed colours and shapes that have entered our collective subconscious via advertising and packaging.
The exhibitors; Rachael Adams, Cassettelord (Martin Middleton), Gretchen Heffernan (writer), Robert Littleford and Alexander Johnson present examples of their current work alongside influential graphic designs and logos.
